Char Siu (Chinese BBQ Pork) Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g pork shoulder or pork belly
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp Chinese five spice powder
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
- Mix all marinade ingredients together.
- Coat pork evenly and marinate at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Roast pork for 20 minutes, then baste with marinade.
- Continue roasting another 10-15 minutes until glossy and slightly charred.
- Rest before slicing. Enjoy!
